The town of Primorsko (approx. 2500 citizens) is situated 55 km South of Bourgas, the town lies on a cape jutting out between the Stamopolo Bay and the Dyavolski (Devil's) Bay.
Primorsko's two beaches - the North and the South form a 10- kilometre coastline. The North beach is more open and offers rough sea, which is treasured by surfers, while the South beach is smaller and calmer and hence preferred by families.
The air in the area around Primorsko is very clean. The town is famous for the thick forest which is part of the natural reserve. The most popular nearby place is the Ropotamo river and the marsh of Arkutino which also falls into the boundaries of the Ropotamo reserve famous for its water lilies.
The town has grown immensely in the past few years and is currently one of the most popular Black sea resorts among foreign and Bulgarian tourists. A golf course and an airport for small planes are in the process of building. Buses go on regular bases to the near towns of Sozopol and Bourgas. As in the other resort on the coast, man can use the private mini buses or taxis for short distance journeys.
